Currently enrolled students from Cranston East or Cranston West High School are accepted into the Daytime Alternate Education Program (AEP) based upon a recommendation from their respective guidance counselors. Upon acceptance, students and their parent(s)/guardians will first meet with the Director or Coordinator to implement an academic plan. This plan will outline the students course of study needed to fulfill graduation requirements including a senior portfolio and mandated state tests. Students enrolled during the Daytime program are not charged program fees. However, normal school expenses associated with their respective high schools will still remain in effect. Students are expected to report to AEP on a daily basis in accordance with the Cranston Public School calendar.
