Vocational Training

Vocational Training for Adults is a great opportunity to further your current employment skills or challenge yourself for a career change. Taught by certified instructors, students will learn hands-on knowledge and up-to-date standards and practices needed in today’s fields.

Classes are offered in the following areas:

General Information

  • All applicants must present a current BCI suitable for employment. Must be obtained from the RI Attorney General's Office upon registration.
  • GED or High School Diploma required
  • A mandatory screening test will be administered at registration
  • Classes are offered to students 18 years or older
  • Students may take only one course per school year
  • Only those interested in obtaining employment or upgrading job skills by the end of training may enroll
  • Upon acceptance, all fees must be paid in full via money order
  • No refunds after the first week of class
  • All receipts must be presented periodically and are the sole responsibility of each student
  • All eligible Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut residents welcome
  • Classes follow Cranston Public School calendar
