

This course consists of 100 mandatory hours of theory and on an on-site clinical experience. It can take approximately 14-16 weeks to complete this course. Content addresses the changing role of CNA responsibilities. Students will be exposed to such things as cultural diversity, anatomy and physiology, rehabilitation/restorative services along with updated CDC and OSHA guidelines for infection control and safety. You will need to plan ahead as these hours are required to receive your certificate and license. This program is affiliated with various nursing homes and hospital settings for clinical experience. Criteria note: Clinical hours vary. Day, evening, Saturday and/or Sunday hours may be required. All requirements must be completed before attending clinical.

BCI's suitable for employment are required prior to enrollment and need to be obtained by the student directly from The Attorney General's Office. A $5 check is required. Immunization Form completion is required for this class. $20 CPR course fee. $75 optional certificate program - Alzheimer Training. $139.00 for state application and licensing fee. Money orders required towards the end of the program. |
